Of the DPS classes, rogues are the only ones who have no buffs to give to the rest of the raid. Savage Combat...nice try though
Was just going to say that's a debuff, but meh.
Anyways, look at the latest official patch notes on mmo champion. The ass tree got buffzored!
...and there was much rejoicing (yaaaay)

I've updated the OP with further details.
My first thought on Master Poisoner Buff was "nHaT?", but then I realized it was too deep in the Assasination Tree.
As for the actual buff itself... the "bonus chance to apply Deadly Poison after Envenom" bit isn't really needed when DP stacks aren't consumed. So what's the point of having that there? It is sure helpful if you want to Envenom 1 target, then switch to DPS the other one, but besides that, there isn't much use for it.
Oh, by the way: Sword Specialization for Warriors is 10% on PTR. -_-
I mean, DO WANT :d

Thank God....this is how it's supposed to work, imo. If we get a nerf somewhere, it must be compensated!
Angry rogue is angry!
....but happy too....
and yes it does make sense.

UPDATE 26 AUGUST 2009
* Master Poisoner now has an additional effect - gives Envenom a 33/66/100% chance to not consume Deadly Poison.
* Envenom’s scaling has been increased from 7% to 9% of attack power per combo point.
Happy to Envenom positive change =). Assassination tree is becoming more attractive.
the chance to not consume DP charges will replace the improved DP procs?
i think yes, because the latter becomes useless when you have the first. but i'm searching confirmations.
Guess Sub/HAT rogues don't use daggers. I use maces and swords for Ambush! Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they didn't hand out the HAT nerf, but I'll be damned if Mutilate fell behind Combat a tad and gets a big buff for its troubles.
i don't understand this sentence. when you should use ambush? Shadowdance PvP? i was thinking we are in a PvE thread.

Nice.
I've been primarily Mut since BC was ending. I've been dabbling in some combat recently on some Ulduar fights but I really prefer daggers. Last night was a good one for me in ToC... after months of pretty much no love on daggers both

and

dropped. Can't wait to try them out. :D
Being a person who hasn't had fresh loot since June, you have my most warm and envious congratulations

Yay, for glyph of envenom! They seem to be doing the right thing, upping assassination damage through means that won't affect pvp.

In before people correcting along the lines of "it's a talent, not a glyph":
The original idea of Envenom not consuming DP stacks was through a Glyph of Envenom, which was only present on 3.1.0 PTR. Hence the reference

I highly doubt these changes will kill combat spec or whatever. I'm guessing this will bring mutilate back up to that sweet-spot, above combat on murderable targets, lower on non-murderable.

the problem here is that if you wanted to do yogg +0 having a couple of rogues FoK specced would have made the work a lot easier in phase 3.
this is the main reason behind the fok nerfs. which are fine, imho.
also, i was lots of times topping the meters in aoe thrash, when we were supposed to stay behind. we are brought in raid for our huge dps output on bosses, and other classes are better than us at aoe. fok is not meant to be another way to do lots of damage, it's only a way to not let rogue go afk and follow during thrash in istances.

GC stated that they will rebalance yogg+0 if they find it to be too difficult without fok spam.

They said that although FoK won't interrupt anymore, Coliseum gear should help killing Yogg+0. If not, then they will probably rebalance (i.e. nerf) the fight.
