Obviously, the mobs are all on The Path of Conquest. Good place to fight mobs is 55,69, where the path starts on the back side. Holy Paladins can solo this (I did), but expect to take about 5 minutes per Son of Corok.

As an affliction Warlock, lvl 68 i soloed this q. Soldiers are easy, but often they come in pack of 3, where one is a caster.

Cavalier's are not hard either, but after you kill the humanoid, you will have to fight the mount aswell. Cavalier's give's you a debuff that lowers spelldamage with 75%, a bit pain for casters.

Son of Corok's hit pretty hard on cloth, but clear an area and chain fear until dead will work. As above poster said, about 5 minutes for each Son is correct.

Perhaps its a recent change, but the respawn rate on the mobs, ie. Soldiers and Spellbinders is very fast. 1-2 minutes at max

Watch for patrolling Cavaliers, they tend to chain pull many mobs. They also have absurd patrolling paths, so watch where you sit down to eat.

Maybe there has been some changes with this quest chain, but I had to kill 10 spellbinders instead of the "Son of Corok", and the quest that follows is "When World's Collide", which asks:

- Chancellor Bloodleaf slain 0/1
- Corok the MIghty slain 0/1
- Illidan's Command

Corok the Mighty is a big elemental, which stands beside Chancellos Bloodleaf.

Coords: 52.69 aproximately

All above posts are correct, just watch for a boss and his mounted guard travelling up the road every 10 minutes or so, if they arrive just run to the edge of the cliff and they will pass by without aggroing, a pain if your mid fight with a son of corok though

If you're looking to solo, kill mobs at the bottom of the path, rather than the top. Just go as far south as possible, and when you reach the fork, take the path that goes down. Basically, it's the section of the path that leads toward Altar of Shadows. The elite with all the adds doesn't patrol down there, and there are a couple cavaliers, one Son of Corok, and more than enough soldiers there.The respawn is quite fast, so you won't have to worry about running out of mobs.

50 63 at the very top, is an area that you can see the pat coming, get out of the way, and just pull 1 son the cavvy;s and the soldiers,

quest solo'd by 70 hunter there.

soloed as a 70 priest (flying)

soldiers: Started at 53,60 by standing in the green lava river. I pulled down a 2pack to make room and then continued to fly up and pull down 2 packs to the river to avoid the pats on the path. They stayed in the river through fear.

My 70 hunter with less-than-incredible gear was able to follow the instructions here and slowly but surely finish off this quest with my pet pig. I landed at 54,71 and killed the air elemental there. Standard hit and run tactics on the mobs at the bottom. Use traps judiciously on the elites, and you should have little trouble. Good luck!

What i found worked the best was to fly past the path to where the clusters of mobs end. There is a nice little outcropping to land on and there will be a wide area that is mob free at your back.
Clear the group of 2-3 on the right, watch out for the sons of coruk and the mounted cavaliers that will periodicly walk up. If this happends just pull the group your working on, back and out of the way.
The sons of coruk stop and pause for a moment before going back the way they came. The cavliers stop and talk to each group of 2-3 ( 1 spellbinder and 2 soldier or just 2 soldiers.)
The spellbinders do an annoying amount of DPS so kill them first if possible.
Clear the first group then wait for the cavalier to walk over and kill him.
Go to the left side, repeat.

Now you have all the room you need to take on the son of Coruk. He hits hard enough to need a friend. Though i have seen some that manage solo him.

If you did not clear both Cavaliers, pull him back some.
Even if you did clear them, be warned, they do spawn rather quickly and right about where you'll be standing.

if you are soloing this, right about the time you are done replenishing your health and mana/energy. The first set of 2-3 mobs will respawn. They respawn all 3 at once.
Repeat five times and you should have just about enough of all the mobs to summon the rider and get your reward.

Prot Pally grinding FTW. Can easily take 7 or 8 of these guys (not the elites) and still come out with at least 50% health and mana in the end. The elites are cake, too.

Easily soloable as a 70 hunter. Stood at 50,63 and pulled the Son, killed him (he's easily kited/trapped/clipped/conced/etc), killed the pack of 2 directly east, then the cavalier, then the group of 3 southeast. Repeated that until done. Super easy.

Just watch out for when Val'zareq and his escorts come walking through. Baaaad mojo if you aggro.

You better be rocking through the place if you are solo/duo. The mobs have a 1.5-2 minute respawn.

Same principle as affliction lock just keep him feared and burn him down, also through a pet on him, I used the felguard.

Easy Quest, all the mobs but the Sons of Corok were wicked easy, could solo the 68 sons but not the 69s. No epics and 2 blues.

the only mob to worry about ofc is the son of corok. if you got decent tank gear its easy soloable. just keep jow and sow, combined with bow. you will regen mana to heal you enough for what he hits for.

I solod this quest this morning as a 70 full affliction lock. Go to 53,64 at the lava ramp. Kill the basilisk, then the two bird pats, be at max immolate range when then patrolling Son of Corok comes all the way down the ramp. Immo and UA, then immediately turn and run and toss up an Amped CoEx as you are start kiting him down the east edge of the lava river tossing up corruption and siphon life. Once you are to the largest walkable bank about 100 yds down the river just fear lock him til he is dead. The soldiers can be found all over and are easily soloable.

Avoid the Spellbinders on the ramp above you next to the stationary Son of Corok, they are linked to the Son.

Breaching the Path

Slay 20 Eclipsion Soldiers, 10 Eclipsion Cavaliers, and 5 Sons of Corok and then use the Wildhammer Flare Gun to signal another Wildhammer Gryphon Rider to report your task complete.

Speak with Thane Yoregar at Wildhammer Stronghold in Shadowmoon Valley should you lose your Wildhammer Flare Gun and require a replacement.
